Pudahuel, Santiago de Chile, 28 de septiembre de 2023. En las primeras horas de hoy, se descubrió el cuerpo sin vida de un hombre adulto en el interior de una cámara subterránea con una profundidad de cinco metros. Se presume que su fallecimiento se debió a un contacto con cables eléctricos.
Este trágico suceso tuvo lugar en el sector de Claudio Arrúa con Serrano, donde se encontró una sierra de corte metálico junto al difunto, por lo que se presume estaba involucrado en el robo de cables de cobres utilizados como conductores de energía eléctrica.
Como resultado de este incidente, una gran parte de la comuna se quedó sin electricidad durante la madrugada de hoy. Personal de emergencia de ENEL acudió al lugar y, al inspeccionar la cámara subterránea, descubrieron el cuerpo sin vida.
El capitán Patricio Riffo, oficial de ronda de la Prefectura Santiago Occidente, confirmó la muerte del individuo y la presencia de una sierra de corte de metales a su lado, sugiriendo que la causa del fallecimiento fue una electrocución.
La Fiscalía de Pudahuel ha ordenado al Laboratorio de Criminalística de Carabineros (Labocar) llevar a cabo las investigaciones necesarias para esclarecer los detalles de este incidente.
El cuerpo del hombre fue retirado una vez finalizado el procedimiento policial y sacado por bomberos es trasladado en un vehículo del Servicio Médico Legal, donde se determinará oficialmente la causa de su muerte.
