El hecho ocurrió durante la noche de este martes dónde el robo fue frustrado por las alarmas.
Pudahuel, Santiago de Chile. 27 de septiembre 2023. Una familia en la villa Alto Jahuel 2 logró evitar ser víctima de un portonazo gracias a la rápida respuesta de las alarmas comunitarias instaladas en su vecindario. El incidente tuvo lugar pasadas las 22:00 horas de ayer en la calle Papa San Pedro, donde un matrimonio de adultos mayores y su hija adulta se encontraban a punto de guardar su vehículo.
Cuando la familia se disponía a resguardar su automóvil, un grupo de cinco delincuentes a bordo de otro vehículo apareció en escena, portando armas de fuego y amenazando a las víctimas. Sin embargo, los criminales no contaban con que los residentes del sector habían implementado alarmas comunitarias como respuesta a una serie de delitos ocurridos en los últimos meses, incluyendo dos incidentes previos en la misma calle durante la semana.
El sonido ensordecedor de las alarmas comunitarias alertó a los delincuentes, quienes, sorprendidos, optaron por darse a la fuga sin lograr concretar la sustracción del vehículo de las víctimas.
A pesar de la efectiva disuasión de los criminales, la familia afectada decidió no denunciar el incidente, considerando que una denuncia no sería de gran utilidad. Como resultado, Carabineros ha iniciado una investigación de oficio para esclarecer los hechos y dar con los responsables.
