La candidata a consejera constitucional por Revolución Democrática comentó sobre el nuevo proceso para cambiar la actual Carta Magna.
Pudahuel, Santiago de Chile, 15 de marzo 2023. El pasado domingo 12 de marzo se transmitió un nuevo capítulo de “Entre Líneas “, de diario Tropezón, donde la invitada fue Rocío Donoso, candidata al Consejo Constitucional por Revolución Democrática.
La trabajadora social comentó su intención a ser candidata con el objetivo de hacer una sociedad más justa, igualitaria y más democrática, impulsando siempre la nueva constitución desde el 2013, haciendo escuelas en gran parte del país.
Rocío mencionó su experiencia como vocal de mesa en Providencia en el último plebiscito en el que la opción del rechazo ganó de una manera categórica. “Yo fui vocal de mesa, en el colegio que estaba había empate técnico, entonces cuando terminó y cierro mi mesa, yo dije bueno si en Providencia hay empate (…) me conecto al celular y empiezo a ver que las cifras eran contundentes, francamente quedé en shock, era de las personas que pensé que íbamos a ganar”.
El nuevo proceso de la constitución será distinto al anterior ya que expertos escribirán una base de la nueva carta magna, luego pasando por el parlamento, cerrando con un plebiscito. Sobre esto, Rocío mencionó que “siempre fui luchadora de una asamblea constituyente y todavía creo que la asamblea constituyente es un excelente mecanismo para cambiar la constitución”.
En la nueva etapa de proceso constituyente la candidata mostró una postura de unión, señalando que la conversación va a ser muy importante. “Yo puedo tener muchos ideales, pero estoy consciente que tenemos restricciones presupuestarias importantes entonces hay que ser realistas, la gente está cansada que le mientan, hay que ponerle honestidad a los procesos y expectativas en política. Si es necesario anteponer los intereses de las personas por los propios, hay que hacerlo”.
